IL Core A: Agency, License Law & Escrow - Back to Basics
3 hours—Illinois Real Estate Core Credit (Meets 3 Hour Core Requirement) - Cost $ 25
You'll leave this course with a better understanding of Agency concepts and responsibilities, plus fiduciary duties and statutory duties. See and hear how the Illinois License Law rules and regulation updates apply to daily business practices. This class will also explain the content of special account laws and updates and how they effect daily business.
IL Core B: Legal Issue - Disclosures
3 hours - Illinois Real Estate CE (Meets 3 Hour Core Requirement) – Cost $ 25
EThis course will help you better understand Illinois and Federal Fair Housing laws. Learn the protected classes defined under Federal and state laws and how they are enforced. Through case studies you will learn how to repsond to discriminatory questions plus learn all the Fair Housing concepts. Gain an in-depth understanding of disclosure laws. Learn the rules and regulations regarding RESPA, Junk Fax, Emails, Internet Marketing and Do Not Call. Make Anti-Trust compliance a priority as you do business in this ever-changing marketplace.
Ethics In Today’s Real Estate World
3 hours - Illinois Real Estate CE Elective Credit (Also meets NAR Quadrennial Ethics Requirement) – Cost $ 25
Ethics In Today’s Real Estate World approaches ethical challenges by asking students to apply ethical principles to a variety of situations they might encounter in their real estate practice. While difficult to define ethics in concrete terms, the course explores the origins of ethics and the diversity therein that accounts for different approaches to what is ethical. The REALTOR® Code of Ethics is discussed and established as both a reference and a set of guidelines for students to use in their real estate practice.
Property Disclosures: The Real Estate Professionals Guide To Reducing Risk
3 hours - Illinois Real Estate CE Elective Credit – Cost $ 25
This course covers the basics of property disclosures. The text examines legal liability issues facing real estate professionals, including misrepresentation, active and passive fraud, negligent misrepresentation, negligent nondisclosure and negligent advice. Property Disclosures also discusses the latest information on key liability topics areas, including mold, lead-based paint, stigmatized property and Megan's law.

You must complete each home study course including the final exam within a 6-month time frame. The six months will start with the date the course is purchased. A 70-percent pass rate on the final exam is required on all home study courses.

STEP 2:
Call QCARA to make arrangements for your proctored exam.

Once the final exam is graded and a 70% pass rate is achieved, the student will receive a Completion Certificate. QCARA will then submit CE credit for the student to IDFPR.
